Convex Cathedral...Limited Availability

Customers hunt these pieces down like crazy! A “fish eye” perspective of the iconic New Orleans Cathedral is offered in a variety of sizes but you have to hunt them down and find them since Marc intentionally peppers them in to dealer inventory very quietly. But if you really want one, give us a call.

Traditional New Orleans Shotgun House

Traditional New Orleans Shotgun House

Marc recreates the iconic New Orleans shotgun house in a variety of sizes, colors, and stains. Here is a large piece called “The Neighborhood” which can be done as a custom work. Call the studio at 985 966 7000 for more information.

This shotgun house panel is 24”x30”, and includes picket fence and generous pots of flowers to greet visitors and to basically “spruce up the joint” a bit! Original sculpture done in rigidized foam. This casting is resin, hand painted and finished.

Celebrating Old Cemetery #1 - A New Orleans Icon

Celebrating Old Cemetery #1 - A New Orleans Icon

What’s unique to our beloved city? Our above ground cemeteries, of course! Like cities themselves, their aging, weathered, and wonderful tombs appear like skyscrapers amidst the ruins of years gone by. Marc captures this feeling in all of his cemetery pieces, even a Christmas Ornament! This is the original sculpture that started it all, 18” x 36”. The original was sold, but commissions for reproduction are available.

Cemetery Panels 8"x8"

Cemetery Panels 8"x8"

One of Marc’s most popular continuously produced work, these interpretations of New Orleans iconic cemeteries are always in demand. Assorted stains and finishes.

St. Louis Cathedral Detail Piece

St. Louis Cathedral Detail Piece

Much like an architectural rendering showing a particular detail or section, the St. Louis Cathedral lends itself well to such an interpretation. Custom made only, in a variety of finishes to compliment your decor and pallet! Call studio for details.

Hand Crafting The Original St. Louis Cathedral

Hand Crafting The Original St. Louis Cathedral

From memory, Marc is hand sculpting the St. Louis Cathedral using styrene foam board and other elements. The original will then be scanned with a laser system, 3D printed and then reduced in size to create various sizes from mantle piece mammoths to Christmas Ornament. Each work is individually hand stained and built by Marc

Jesuit Church New Orleans

Jesuit Church New Orleans

The Jesuit Church, on Baronne Street across from The Roosevelt Hotel, is an iconic landmark that is close to the heart of many New Orleans natives. This is the completed original, 24”x 48”. Commissions are available of this larger size.

Figurative Work- "Rise"

Figurative Work- "Rise"

Rise, an assemblage piece using a life casting model, was completed and sold to a private buyer in 2014.

Figurative Work- "The Fallen One"

Figurative Work- "The Fallen One"

Marc does a fair amount of figurative work, either by life casting, or by using discarded mannequin torsos and embellishing them. This piece is actually assemblage, meaning it has various components which are combined to create a refined singular piece.

Architectural Art From Around The World

Architectural Art From Around The World

An interpretation of an ancient Greek temple, this forced perspective piece is an example of architectural subject matter Marc likes to pursue. Styrene foam, PVC pipe (that’s right!), vinyl spackling compound, house paint, and wood stain, 24” x 48”. Subject matter intentionally over hangs the top and bottom border. Called “The Temple At Perugia” World traveler? Give us a call.

"Charmed"

"Charmed"

In 2012, Marc wanted to to do a grand experiment involving extrapolation of scale. Working with a 12” tall model, he laid out and crafted this 20’ tall scale replica of The Eiffel Tower. Complete with a ring at the top to suggest a charm on a charm bracelet, the work was seen at many North Shore events and in his yard in Beau Chene on Bastille Day. The sculpture was created by eye, and using underlayment panel, plywood, and styrene foam. Finished in gold aerosolized paint.
